Batsford Ltd., 1954, vg/vg (minor chipping, foxing a page edges only), autobiography of a "box kite" pioneer, Commander Warren Merriam, who first flew with the Bristol Flying School in 1912. He stayed on as an instructor & taught many of the great British pioneers to fly, then joined the RNAS in 1915 flying Sopwith Scouts on anti-submarine patrols, after WWI he built & flew a range of gliders, flew joy-rides in his Avro seaplane, many photos, 175 pgs.
