ROYAL AIR FORCE FLYING REVIEW MAGAZINE

1996

Flight Journal was first published in the Summer of 1996 as a quarterly, with the title 'Flight', but later became bi-monthly with a revised title to avoid confusion with the UK weekly publication. It contains a mixture of articles covering all aspects of aviation. It is well illustrated (with much colour) and has its articles written by guest contributors. Departments within each issue include Flybys (short items on current events) , On Canvas (aviation paintings) , In the Cockpit Profile (anything from an F-86 to a vintage Waco) , Gallery (photo essay of subject aircraft) and Virtual Pilot (flight simulations and other computer stuff). There is a heavy emphasis on aviation artwork and computer simulations.
