AERO DIGEST MAGAZINES - 1927-1938,

A complete 12 year run. The years from 1927 to 1929 are hardbound from the Library of Congress (they are bound with covers except for Jan. 1927). The loose issues (1930 to 1938) are complete except for 1 page missing from Jan. 1931. There are 144 magazines in ths run.

They should not be shipped because if packed, the weight would be close to 200#s.

If you decide to go for it, I will throw in 10 issues from 1939 as a bonus!

HARRY H. MILLS & WALTER J. SMITH - signed envelope

Mills stayed in the Air Service after WW I and won the Pulitzer Trophy in 1924.

Smith flew with the 24th Aero Sqdn and was credited with 1 victory. After the war, he became an air mail pilot.

JIM AND MARY (MAE) HAIZLIP - signed envelope,
Jim and Mary were prominent in early 1930s air racing. Jim flew in the Thompson & won the 1932 Bendix, settin a coast to coast speed record.
In 1931, at the National Air Races, Mae competed in 6 events flying 6 different aircraft. In 1932, she set a new women's speed record of 255 mph.
